Commercial Arbitrations
Team members of Siraj Omar LLC represented two Cayman Islands-based funds in a dispute with its joint venture partner in respect of the sale of an auto parts manufacturer valued in excess of US$110 million.
Team members of Siraj Omar LLC represented a public listed company in four DIAC arbitrations involving an amount in excess of S$100 million for breaches of several construction related contracts governed by UAE Law.
Team members of Siraj Omar LLC represented a private equity fund in the enforcement of an SIAC Arbitral Award in excess of US$70 million involving assets in multiple jurisdictions.

The dispute was in relation to the sale and purchase of several palm oil plantations in Indonesia and inter alia involved expert evidence on Indonesian laws and procedures.

The disputes involved a total sum of more than US$50 million and involved issues Singapore law and Indonesian law, and the legality of various transactional documents.
